I had Arams replace a brake caliper on the front left (driver side). In doing so I also had my brakes replaced as well as the rotors (front). They had my pickup for a couple days and I picked it up. I drove to Oklahoma and started hearing noises in my front end. After looking around I found my front left rotor feeling like a ruffles potatoe chip. There is absolutely no reason other than a failure to replace the rotor should it be like that! I went to Arams for 2 reasons, 1 because I just had surgery on my neck and couldn't do the work myself. 2 because I trusted them. Now both reasons are no longer an excuse so I regret that I also will never take a vehicle there again! I'm just sorry I hadn't gotten this review out much sooner, but I was reminded by this via an email reminding me of Arams. What I can say is maybe it was the mechanic, idk, you'd thing there would be some sort of quality control with the high cost.
Joseph, first let me start by saying that I'm sorry to hear that you experienced a problem with your vehicle. I'm shocked to only learn of this problem that occurred almost 2 years ago, repair was performed 3/7/2024. Had you called when the problem occurred, we could have directed you to a NAPA Care facility and our repairs would have been covered under our 3 year or 36,000 mile nationwide warranty. I can't prove it now, but I suspect we should have sold you the left front brake caliper, as we had trouble retracting the piston on the right front and replaced it during the repair. Again, sorry to just learn of this now, but if you ever change your mind and need help with your vehicle we will be here for you. Billy Catching, owner Aram's Auto Repair Center
